Growth Share is the sharing of the Market Center's growth with those who contribute to it. It is passive income, generated by the production of the agents each associate has brought into KW. In the Market Center, it also works as an important tool for attracting and retaining talent, one that gains strength with scale.

What exactly is Growth Share?

When joining KW, each associate identifies the KW associate who contributed most to their decision. That person becomes their sponsor. Whenever the associate closes deals, part of that value is distributed across their sponsorship tree, which can reach up to seven levels above.

This income does not depend on the activity of the person receiving it, but on the production of the agents in their tree. It continues over time, as long as those agents keep closing deals. That is why Growth Share is passive income: built through the ability to attract productive people, and not dependent on individual production.

Passive income that depends on productivity

Growth Share is not guaranteed. If the agents in the tree do not produce, there is no distribution. This rule defines the profile of agent the mechanism attracts.

Anyone who sponsors a colleague has a direct interest in that colleague being productive. The system does not reward people simply joining; it rewards their success. The agent benefits when they produce, the sponsor benefits when the agent produces, and the Market Center grows with that production.

The recruitment message is clear: Growth Share is passive income that is built by helping others build solid businesses. Presented this way, the model does not only attract agents looking for a brand, but professionals who want to build a long-term business, making everyone a stakeholder in the success of anyone who joins.

How the Operating Principal uses Growth Share in practice

In the recruitment conversation, Growth Share is a concrete argument. The agent who joins KW has access to training and technology and, from day one, can start building a tree that grows with them.

Day to day, Growth Share creates a dynamic of internal support that the Operating Principal cannot produce alone. The most experienced agents get involved in welcoming and supporting newer ones, not out of obligation, but because the alignment of interests has already been created by the system.

Growth Share and scale: a self-reinforcing mechanism

A KW Market Center has more than a hundred agents. Each of them is a potential sponsor, and each new productive agent expands the trees of those who brought them in. In the traditional agency model, recruitment depends almost entirely on the leadership; in a Market Center, it is shared across the whole operation.

This dynamic is part of what takes the Market Center to scale. More productive agents dilute fixed costs, concentrate talent and strengthen Growth Share itself, which in turn attracts new agents.

One part of a system, not an isolated feature

Growth Share only works within a complete logic. KW training makes agents productive. The culture keeps them committed. Command gives them technological autonomy. Growth Share aligns all these elements around the same goal.

The economic basis is the same as for the whole Market Center: each agent pays the Market Center a portion of each commission until reaching the cap, the maximum amount of commission paid to the Market Center. A Capper is an agent who has reached the cap and who, until a new 12-month cycle from their entry into KW is completed, keeps 98% of the commission on subsequent transactions. Attracting, developing and retaining productive agents are the three moves of the same business, and Growth Share is the mechanism that unites them.

Frequently asked questions

Is Growth Share guaranteed for those who sponsor? No. It is passive income that depends on the production of the agents in the sponsorship tree. Without production, there is no distribution.

Why is Growth Share passive income? Because it does not depend on the activity of the person receiving it, but on the production of the agents they sponsored, up to seven levels below. It can continue over time, as long as those agents keep producing.

How does Growth Share differ from a simple recruitment bonus? A recruitment bonus is a one-off and does not create ongoing alignment. Growth Share is distributed over time, as long as the sponsored agent is productive, which gives the sponsor a permanent incentive to support the development of the newcomer.
